about us

Built for faster home care hiring

We started by solving hiring for retail, hospitality, and call centers. Home care found us — and it turned out to be the industry that needed us most.

our story

It started backward

Hellohire wasn’t built for home care.

We built it to help businesses hire hourly workers faster — retail, hospitality, call centers. Early customers like Skechers, Staples Canada, the Toronto Raptors, and the Toronto Maple Leafs used it to streamline hiring.

But the pull toward home care kept coming. Ravin’s wife worked in the industry. Friends were building in the space. They all said the same thing: this would be perfect for hiring caregivers.

We tested it with one agency in Toronto. They told us the platform was too advanced and caregivers wouldn’t use it. We believed them, and moved on.

Then a home care agency owner in California found us on his own — and changed everything.

He ran his own hiring experiment. It worked. Seamlessly.

What we were solving occasionally in other industries was an everyday challenge in home care.

Two years later, we’ve worked with hundreds of agencies — and fully committed to the space.

the pivot

The fit wasn't planned It was obvious.

What we built didn’t need to be adapted for home care. It was already exactly what the industry was missing.

the start

Hourly hiring, any industry

Built for retail, hospitality, and call centers. Customers included Skechers, Staples Canada, and pro sports teams.

The soft pivot

Home care adoption accelerated. We shifted product, sales, and marketing focus toward the industry.

today

Home care, full stop

Hundreds of agencies. Every new dollar of R&D, sales, and marketing goes into home care hiring.

What We Believe

Home care doesn't have a hiring problem. It has a speed problem.

The best caregivers aren’t sitting idle. They’re applying to multiple agencies, evaluating options in real time, and accepting the first opportunity that gives them hours. So what looks like a “shortage” is often just a race. The agency that moves first gets the interview. And usually — the hire.

Speed wins hiring

The first few minutes after an application decide whether you win or lose the candidate.

AI should accelerate human connection, not replace it

Caregivers don’t want a bot. They want to talk to someone. First impressions matter.

You can't hire from a resume

You hire from a conversation. That’s where quality shows up.

Most hiring processes are slower than they need to be

And in this industry, slow means lost candidates.

in the press

What others are saying.

"What began as a horizontal hiring platform has evolved into a solution built specifically for one of health care's most urgent challenges."
